Dear Solvay Resident,
We are happy to report to you that your village has an active Neighborhood Watch program. The Solvay Police Department in cooperation with concerned village residents have successfully placed your Neighborhood Watch in full operation. Every street in the village of Solvay now has been included in the Neighborhood Watch program.
In order for Neighborhood Watch to work, we need to have you get involved. As our membership grows, the program will become more successful in keeping your neighborhood safe. We need youto get involved in working with your police department. Together we will continue to make neighborhood improvements and teach you how to be safe. Members are given opportunities to see first hand the operations of law enforcement. Tours and demonstrations will be made available free of charge to our members. Guest speakers are also made available at monthly meetings.
As a member of Solvay Neighborhood Watch, you will become a part of the Solvay Police department team. This is a free service provided by the Solvay Police Department and approved by the Solvay Village Board. Monthly meetings are held for each area and several groups will meet together for tours and demonstrations. Meetings for the most part last approximately 90 minutes.
Community events, Neighborhood clean ups, tours of the 911 center, Guest speakers from several public service agencies will be made available as a service of your Neighborhood Watch. Please get involved in working with YOUR POLICE DEPARTMENT. HELP US, HELP YOU.
